RUC MON CAVE ADVENTURE

• Morning:
We will pick you up from your hotel in Phong Nha around 7:30 to 8:00
am and transfer you to our headquarters to get prepared.

We will depart
on the Ruc Mon adventure by a van driving about 30km, viewing the Da
Deo mountain pass, and learning more about the history of the Ho Chi
Minh trail presented by our guide.

We continue to the Yen Phu village of the Trung Hoa minority people

and start your adventure by walking through the village and learning
more about local life. Walk pass the primeval forest, which is still
unspoiled with many rare and ancient trees.
Keep trekking to the reach entrance of Ruc Mon cave where a delicious

BBQ lunch of local food will be awaiting you prepared by our porter

team. Vegetarian or vegan lunch is also available upon request.

• Afternoon:
After having lunch you will have 30 minutes to take a rest and get your
gear and equipment prepared. Then we trek into the jungle 350m over
rocky terrain to the upper cave entrance.

Explore four distinctly different
cave levels and then descend a 60m ladder where you have the option
to jump 5m into the river below.

After exploring the different areas. You
will exit the cave by swimming or boating 1km in refreshing
underground mountain water. Back at the entrance we dry o and have
some drinks and snacks before returning to the village. Departure back
to Phong Nha will be approximately 5:30 – 6:30 pm.
